Chris Newell doesn’t remember the first time he ever rode a bike, but he remembers to the day the first time he got on a mountain bike (April 1, 1991, by the way).
Chris’s favorite memory of riding was a training trip he took in 2004. He spent the day enjoying the incredible terrain, weather, and solitude of the 40 mile ride around Sedona, Arizona.
Chris has a long list of his top trails: Gambrill Blue/Frederick Watershed, Michaux Teaberry, Curse, Maximus, Sedona Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, Buddha Beach, Teacup Rock, Submarine, South Mountain AZ National Trail, and PTAP North.
The Westminster Catocin 100 is Chris’s favorite road ride.
