Chris Lane lives in Parkville, Maryland. He rode bikes as a child, but took a long hiatus before he started riding again in earnest at 25.
The first time he rode the Shenandoah 100, in 2011, he had a realization. After the pain and suffering of his first 100 miles in the mountains, the natural high of completing a race of that magnitude has kept him coming back for more.
Chris loves riding the trails at Shenandoah and, more locally, PVSP. He has love for northern Baltimore County as well, and says that the “beautiful, secluded, challenging” roads there are great for riding.
